Ms Fram - Has anyone been on this new ship?

Hello...

I haven't sailed on the MS Fram yet, but we're booked to sail in December of 2008.

They don't seem to have brochures yet and the representative said that they weren't certain what the fares would be at that point. They did take a deposit as I wanted one of their aft cabins with balcony. The view looks great from there.

I'm curious why the ship would be better for the Arctic than Antarctica. I did have some concerns about the small size of the ship in rough waters, but I do love smaller ships.

As long as I've got a view, I'm not too concerned about gourmet food.

Would love to hear from anyone who's been on the ship.

Anything over 200 (really 100) passengers is considered large in Antarctica. If you are booked that is great. It looks like the prices are going up (way up) for 2009.
