princess alaska cruise - scrapbook?

I read in the book they sent that they sometimes have scrapbook classes. I would like to know if anyone has done this and if they give out Princess specific die cuts. What are the classes like?

Thanks!

I did this last Sept on our Alaskan Cruise and it was a total BUST!!! The only thing they give you was 1 picture to use on your 1 12x12 page. The pens they gave you to use was SHARPIES!!! Now I was on the Coral so I can't answer for any other ships. Will check it out on my next Alaskan cruise but if it is any way like the other one then I will pass.

Thanks. My guess is they would all be pretty similar on the same cruise line.

If you go to the first class, you'll probably get the picture of the ship. I'd probably go again, just to get the ship picture. If you go to one of the subsequent classes, you may be the only one there. In that case, you'll have the die cuts all to yourself.

Typically, you'll find a set of letters (I was able to cut out all the titles for the ports on my cruise), and some typical cruise-type dies. I'm not sure about an Alaskan cruise, but in the Caribbean, I found shells, suns, waves, cameras, suitcases, airplanes, ships, anchors, buckets, balls, etc. Not anything really "Princess" related, just more cruise related.

It's worth it if you're not doing anything else at the time. Most of the time, it's at the same time as the art auction, for whatever reason. I've gone to the scrapbooking session, done a little, and then joined hubby at the auction. It's not like you have to stay for the whole time. However, I think to attend the later classes, you are supposed to buy the Princess Album. However, I really like the album covers, so I was doing that anyway. And, you can always check it out, and then leave - it's not like someone's forcing you to stay there. The free picture is worth the first one, IMO.
