Balcony Lights

Can someone tell me definitively that we absolutely CANNOT string small twinkle lights from the balcony banister?????

I know that last year the cabin next to mine wanted to and the cabin steward said NO WAY. To find out for sure, call the cruise line. Take down a name if the say yes so you can have something to back you if you get a negative response on board.

5_3_4.gif..............I have read many posts that have said people HAVE put up lights, I would ask one thing based on my experience last year. IF you do this , please make sure they are little, tiny, itty-bitty, miniscule lights, PLEASE. IT truly is annoying to have all the nice beautiful darkness showered with light from next door and then you have to ask them to turn it off and they get pissy........you know what I mean..:D
