Good quality silver charms?

We are doing a cruise that includes San Juan Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. I have a charm bracelet that I've been adding to for nearly 20 years.

I am only interested in the heavy weight, good quality silver charms, not the cheapy freebies that are available.

Here are my questions:

1. Where would I find these (vintage charms would be great, too).

and

2. What charm would be perfect for each stop (for example, in New Orleans, I got Carnival masks, in Venice, I got a gondola)?

Wow, I have never seen any Vintage charms on those islands BUT I HAVE seen them on eBay.

I am an independent maker of custom sterling silver/swarovski jewelry, and will check to see if I can get you charms, but I need to know what you are looking for. We just got home from AK and I made for my 2 girlfriends (and myself) a bracelet with a star (representing the flag of AK), a polar bear (no explanation needed), and a heart (because we love each other). The DHs even thought it was a pretty idea. I wear mine daily, as it is a reminder of the wonderful time we had in Alaska and with our friends.
