Seattle Hotels-Priceline/Hotwire Question

Seeking advice from former May cruisers--We are sailing May 22, 2005 to Alaska. Want to spend the day prior in Seattle. What is the earliest I can start bidding on hotels? FYO--this is Memorial Day weekend. Thanks in advance for your help.

No reason you can't start now.

Just know what an appropriate bid is and don't exceed it this early in the bidding process. If you can lock something in it will be one less thing on your mind to think about.

We stayed at the Seattle Airport Hilton last June prior to our cruise. It was very nice and our room rate was very reasonable. They have a shuttle service that comes to all the major airport hotels and for a very cheap rate take you to the fish market area, downtown, and to the waterfront restaurants. We really enjoyed it and it was much cheaper than staying downtown.
