Off2China Posted September 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2009 You can find lots of reviews of various classes on TripAdvisor--just search Italy cooking school. (Sounds like fun!!)
euro cruiser Posted September 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2009 Venice (Not much time) Florence Tuscany Rome Sicily Naples/Capri Unless you are taking a four to six week honeymoon, with this itinerary you will not have much time for something like a cooking class. You will be spending a fair amount of time just getting from place to place.
VonChap Posted September 26, 2009 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2009 We are coming to Italy for our honeymoon and wanted to see if anyone had suggestions on Cooking Lessons in Italy? We learned about the Accidental Tourist from the Rick Steves Florence book and will be using them for a 1 day wine and cooking class next April. So far, they have been great to work with by email. You can find out more about their 1 day program at AccidentalTourist dot com. Have fun!
maryann ns Posted September 26, 2009 #7 Share Posted September 26, 2009 My husband and I had a wonderful day with Accidental Tourist in 2001. We were picked up in Florence and taken to a wonderful Tuscan Villa with vinyards and olive groves. We learned about wine making and olive oil and learned to make pasta. Then we had a wonderful feast with what we had made.
