WehoAtlantis Posted October 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2009 Hi all, I will be on a 10 day Caribbean cruise on the Equinox. Here is what I have chosen so far for beaches after researching on CC. But as always you ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers. I am really looking for beaches with umbrella/bed rentals, a Caribbean lunch and a few cocktails. St. Thomas-docking at Havensight and gearing towards Lindbergh beach. St. Kitts-Cockleshell Bay beach. Barbados-Accra beach than shopping at Pelican Village. St. Maarten-Club Orient beach on the French side for personal reasons. As far as Dominica, I have no idea what to do there. Any information is welcome and thanks for stopping by. Happy cruising, Mike
jackdiamond Posted October 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2009 Lindberg is very nice, but Lindquist beach is better. If you are looking for a beach in Dominica-forget it.
tennis#9 Posted November 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2009 My DH and I love Orient Beach...orient Bay club especially. We go to St. Maarten on week long trips and on cruises and always spend the majority of our time there. Great place! Fewer people at Orient bay club....probably because of the nudity. Beach bars/restaurants there are good but if you have a car go to Grand Case to eat. The highest concentration of 5 star restuarants in the world as I understnad it.
