Will be going on the Destiny (Southern Caribbean) in April. Just wanted to make sure that a birth certificate is still acceptable if you don't have a passport.

A Birth Certificate is acceptable for every ship in the fleet.

We're going in April on the Destiny too and Carnival said b.c. with a picture id for everyone over 16 is acceptable.

Our TA told us to get passports (Destiny 4/05) due to the stop in Barbados. I did some checking and found out that you only need it if you plan to fly into/out of their airport, so for safety sake in case of emergency, we got the passports.
