Merry Christmas :)

Thanks so much for bringing all the HAL CCers Where's the Fleet.

I just want to wish all by HAL CC Friends a Very Happy Holiday and I know this next year of 2010 will be full of lots of FUN Cruises. I year ago this evening Tom and I were celebrating Christmas on the Eurodam not knowing what the future held for me not knowing I would have the opportunity to get to do so many HAL cruises in 2009. I was getting tired of hearing how when one door closes another one opens. I thought yes maybe for others but not for me or in this economy but I am here to say that the door did open:) I know that 2010 will be a wonderful year and look forward to many more days at sea.

I wish for all of you a wonderful 2010!!!

A Very Merry Christmas to everyone on Cruise Critic!

I'll echo something Lisa said: I too had a door slam shut on me this year when my employer of six years suddenly laid me off. That door closing has opened up a wealth of new doors and opportunities, and frankly, I feel better this Christmas than I did a year ago.

There's always something to look forward to when you know, in a matter of days or months or years, you get to step back onboard and feel the ocean beneath your feet :)

Atomica,

Glad you found the "open doors". The version I heard that is so true went something like this.

In life, every time a door closes on us, others open. However, we are frequently too busy looking back at the closed door to notice those that open before us.
