Pride of America , Jan. 2 - 9 , 2010 cruise

Thanks to perfect weather all week this was an excellent cruise ! Although the ship was at capacity we never had to wait at restaurants or felt crowded . Service was very attentive .

 

The only problems encountered were not the fault of the cruise line ; very little lava flow this week and some big sea swells limited tendering in Kona later in the day . We went early and had no difficulty .

 

Our cabin ( deck 7 ) was very quiet and experienced little ship motion . There was a lot more entertainment than we had expected ; we especially enjoyed the Hawaiian themed activities .

 

All in all , this cruise exceeded our expectations .
