Has anyone any experience with the YSpa???

We haven't been on Oasis yet, but I promised my 13 year old daughter that she could have a Yspa treatment. I wrote RCI to ask for more information as there wasn't much posted on website that I could find. I have an email response from them regarding treatments and prices. If you need that I can post it.

Fitness Frenzy:

$51.00

Enjoy 3 specialized boot camp class this cruise and receive a personalized metabolism test to see how much you can indulge without unwanted bulge.

 

Please note that all teens must have their parents' consent before receiving treatments. A parent or guardian must sign the teen's client consultation form acknowledging their consent. Teens are only allowed to receive treatments noted on the teen menu. No deviations from the menu are allowed. Additionally, teen guests are not permitted in the sauna or steam rooms.

 

All guests under the age of 18 receiving massage treatments are required to wear their bathing suits during treatments, and all teen treatments will be performed by a female therapist. Parents are not required to be present during treatments; however, they are welcome and encouraged to attend, if they choose to do so. All Fitness Frenzy classes will be held at the aerobic studio or place designated by the fitness director. Only teens 16 and above may participate in the Fitness Frenzy classes.

My 15-year old daughter and I loved our couples massage. We did 75 minutes and it was great. The two masseuses were very professional and my DD was very comfortable with them, although this was not her first massage. That may have been her favorite part of the cruise!!

My son (9 years old) and I did our first (for both of us) father/son masasge and it was terrific. Even though he barely fit into the robe provided, he loved the experience. Later inthe cruise we also did pedicures and he loved that as well. All the staff was very gracious and fun with the kids. Not cheap but a fun experience.

You mean my 10 year old daughter can get a spa appointment? Cool! I thought it was just for 13years and older.

I notice that the email states that this is a sample of the services onboard.

 

I didn't see any type of "up-do".

ie: putting up the hair for formal night.

 

Surely they will offer that??!

 

Does anyone know if there is any way to order these services online?

I haven't seen it yet, although I have been able to order my own appts online.

The Salon does up-dos for any age. DD had her first at 4 on one of the ships.

I was not able to reserve the massage online because my daughter is under 18. My TA checked on this for me and at the time (New Year's Eve) sailing, they weren't booking Yspa online. I did a couples massage with her, and I went to the spa on the morning of day 2 to make the appointment. They were already booking up quickly with few available appointments.
