...or your most memorable?

Out of 19 cruises; for me it has to be the beautiful, plush and classy Safari Lounge on

the Jewel OTS. Stunningly lovely; much like the ship itself.

How about you?

Like you, on Radiance Class, my favorite is the Safari Lounge (Colony Club).

On Vision Class, it is the Schooner Bar.

On Voyager/Freedom Class, it is the Viking Crown.

For me it used to be the English pub on Voyager and Freedom class ships, but since the smoking change i don't have a favorite:(

Great minds and all that , only one answer when i saw the thread title -the Safari Lounge on the Jewel , class on a classy ship

Each like-named lounge is so different on each class, it amazes me. Bolero's is just right there in the centrum on the Liberty, but is a full-on lounge on the Majesty.

I HATED the Schooner Bar on the Majesty but the one on the Grandeur/Enchantment is my favorite lounge of all. (I've only been on three classes of ship so it's hard to be objective...apparently I'm missing out on something, having never seen the Safari lounge.)

I LOVE the Viking Crown Lounge on any ship at night!

I do like that RCI keeps certain labels on all of their ships. (You can count on the Windjammer, Schooner Bar, Crown Lounge..) Carnival does not do that.

it's like coming home to an old friend even if it's a ship you haven't been on yet.

On Voyager class, I like the Schooner Bar best. Next would be the Solarium, then the Viking Crown bars.

The Schooner Bar on the Monarck was also a favorite.

Years ago, we loved the Boleros on Monarch, as well as the Viking Crown Lounge.

We liked the Wigh and Gavel on Mariner, especially when there were no smokers in there. We'd just move outside if some did come in. I just read it is being turned into a non-smoking venue...Yea! We'll spend a few hours there in April!

Any solarium also has my vote.

Navigator - Two Poets Pub

Freedom - Schooner Bar

Oasis -- not sure what that will be yet but am sad that it will not be the Pub since they have turned it into a smoking bar (I don't have anything against smokers but husband has horrible allergies and that will start them up)

and like most -- my fave place is the Solarium!! nice and quiet. my favorite place to go when the kids are off playing at Adventure Ocean in the afternoon

My fave place w/kids in the a.m. is on Freedom at the H20 Zone

Favorite- The Enchantment Solarium was wonderfully relaxing for us!

The Solarium on the Jewel was unique, but a madhouse on my last trip!! I guess they all differ. Is it true that on the newer ships the solarium is no longer an indoor pool area??!!?? ...Disappointing if true.

I have noticed that very few people have been able to commit to just one room or lounge. It is a diificult choice. I spend most of my time in the Schooner Bar, although I find the Schooner Bars on the larger ships less intimate than the Vision Class ships. When it comes to out right style, noyhing beats the Colony Club on the Radiance Class ships. Finally there is no better place to be for sailaway than the Viking Crowne Lounge. Amongst the hustle and bustle of the day it is a relaxing place with beautiful vistas. So yes, a difficult choice.

It is a hard decision- so many choices on RCI ships.

On the Serenade, we loved the Champagne Bar for pre-dinner drinks: they had hot hors d'oeuvres and the BEST views of the sea. But after dinner, when it was dark, I really enjoyed the cozy Safari Club and the amazing pool tables.

On the Voyager and Freedom class ships, we spent more time in Boleros (love those mojitos). Really loved the one on the Explorer (I think), which had an aquarium. I do wish this bar was larger and more separate from the walkway- I think we will LOVE it on the Oasis. My husband, who is a beer drinker, loves the pubs and we really liked the entertainment in there.

I also really like the Viking Crown lounge but on many cruises we have been on, it has been co-opted for the Diamond Lounge, which is a shame for us lowly Platinums.

Cheers,
