Is the Grand suite on Explorer of the Seas worth it?

Recommended Posts

Diamond Plus members still have access to the Concierge lounge. I sailed on back to back cruises in February and was able to use the lounge nightly.

That's not what we were told when we were onboard. Several people mentioned the fact that it used to be for both, but had gotten too crowded. One couple in particular said something because they are D+, and staying in a suite, but chose to use the CL due to their suite.

We had a GS on Voyager last May; we were on a 12night cruise thru europe. My wife and I loved the extra space; we thought the price was worth it. our priced dropped by $ 1100 a month prior. Our concierge was excellent; booked shore excurstions for us; changed shore excursions for us. We had 15 in our group and only four of us had GS.. Our concierge got reserved seats to the ice show and theater for our entire group. The balcony is large and so is the bathroom. We have booked the OS on Freedom for next year; We has 11 family and our room will be used as a staging area.
