Best liquor stores in Progreso

Does anyone know where the best place to buy tequila is in Progreso?

I would wait until you get to Cozumel. The duty free shop at the pier has decent prices in Progreso.

 

In Cozumel, Mega-store and Chedraui has the best prices. I buy Corralejo Reposada for around $13 a liter. For other types of tequila, try Cozumel Mart near the McDonald's. It has the cheaper prices for the tourist areas. Ah Toro Reposado is around $30. Clase Azul 750ml is $78 there but is $4 cheaper in the Duty-Free store at the Puerta Maya pier.

 

Clase Azul is the tequila that starts out with a sweet taste before you get the tequila flavor. It comes in the beautiful blue and white bottle.
