Rare robbinsca Posted June 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2010 We cruised in Alaksa about 6 years ago, and have gone to the Caribbean adn Med since then. april 2011 will be our first trip to Hawaii. Does anyone know of a coupon book that is equivalent to the toursaver.com offering for Alaska. That was the best $100 we ever spent. The book was basically 2 for 1 pricing on things like flight seeing, as well as the typical T-shirt shops. Thanks,

You can look at what is in the 2010 book http://hawaii.entertainment.com/discount/browse.shtml. Around March of each year, the price goes down to $15 from $35. There is also a Go Oahu Card that you can see at http://www.smartdestinations.com/oahu-attractions-and-tours/_d_Hio-p1.html?GCID=GOOGLE-oahu-GOCARD-gbc-haw and a custom Maui pass at http://www.smartdestinations.com/build-your-own-discounted-attraction-tickets-and-packages.ep?dest=Him. Finally, there are several coupon books almost on every corner. Nothing else that I recall.
Iwannabeatraveler Posted June 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2010 Have used toursaver in Alaska as well, Haven't seen anything like it for Hawaii! Only Entertainment book which you would have to go through to evaluate for deals based on what you want to do!
Giantfan13 Posted June 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2010 We used the entertainment book when we went. As was said, this time of year it can be had for $15 or even less, so if you even use it for ONE restaurant, it saves more than you paid. We used several coupons including one for Germaine's Luau, and several for dinners at some very nice restaurants. Cheers Len
fendbass Posted June 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 5, 2010 I have purchased Entertainment books on two trips to Hawaii, and you should be aware of the fact that 95% of the deals are for the island on Oahu. While we were there, the Entertainment book saved us a TON of money However, it was different on the other islands. A few coupons for Maui, and only one or two for Kauai and the Big Island On our last trip, which we went to every island except for Oahu, we were able to use 2 coupons on Maui, but, for the rest of the trip, the book was so much dead weight If you think you maight be able to use the book, you might want to post a note on Cruise Critic asking if anyone has just returned and still has their book that they might want to send to you. That's what I did after my last two trips
Rare robbinsca Posted July 3, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted July 3, 2010 I am familiar with the Entertainment books from here in SoCal. May get one of those, but agree that there is limited use. It sure doesn't match up to TourSaver.............
