Simi Valley Pioneer Posted June 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Just a quick question. My daughter and I will be cruising at the end of July. We are considering the Emerald Princess to Eastern Caribbean- ports are Princess Cays, Grand Turk, St Maarten and St Thomas. Should we go with this itinerary or try a different line? This is our first time. My daughter is 30 and I am 57. Suggestions would be so helpful. We are not "tied" to Princess. Thanks! KD

KD The itinerary sounds very relaxing - Princess Cay is a private island, so not very complicated. The other islands all have a variety of easy options: walk around, take a cab, plan an excursion. If you like things low-key and stress-free this sounds fine. The destinations are all attractive and a good sampling of the Caribbean atmosphere (of course this applies to virtually any route - hard I think to go seriously wrong in the Caribbean). If you'd rather hack through the jungle with a machete you might want something more challenging.
