I've eaten at the one in Ocho Rios and had drinks at a few others. Food isn't anything spectacular, that's for sure. Not bad, but not worth what you'll pay. I think I read on here someone was paying over $9 for a virgin fruit smoothie. No thanks.

 

Our plan is to pop in for a tshirt and head down to Jack's. ;)

Actually from the menu the prices don't look that bad and there is a large selection.

 

Anybody tried the Shrimp Salad or Fajitas?

 

And does Jack's Shack have food or just drinks???

Jack's Shack has a limited food menu. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, italian sausages, and jerk chicken. Sometimes they will have some special items like the conch. A lot of people swear by the jerk chicken.

 

We will be stopping in Grand Turk in September. Wife saw pictures of the Cruise Center, Margaritaville, and the pool area and wants to hang out there. I need to work on convincing her to go to Jack's, hang out on the beach, drink some reasonably priced drinks, and try some jerked chicken. Screw franchises.

We had bloody mary's at Margaritaville and thought them a bit pricey. The drinks were better on the ship and a better price IMO. We never bothered with lunch there.

The drinks are way over priced. For 2 margaritas in blender mug and a bottle of beer it was $52.00.

If you're going to Grand Turk, I'll take Jack's Shack over Margaritaville at any time. After all, there's a Margaritaville in almost every port you'll visit.
