Special Restaurant for birthday!

I feel so torn over a memorable 30th birthday in NO. There seems to be so many great restaurants! Does anyone have any suggestions though? Is the Commander's Place the best? Something preferably without a lot of children would be ideal. Where is a fun place to go after for drinks and jazz. We will be celebrating on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.

Commander's Palace, Bella Luna, Emeril's Delmonico (definitely not his other two), Bayona, or Irene's. Either of the first two would be my choice - actually, I've never seen any children at either.

One last question...nothing to do with restaurants. We are going in the middle of March. Would you suggest a swamp tour?

As for a fun place to have a drink after dinner ( or anytime ) I would recommend Pat O'Brien's. You have to get a Hurricane. YUMMY:D

I would also recommend the graveyard tour. It is very interesting...however it does involve walking.

Hard for me to say - I've only been on one and that was in December - NOT the best time. If you are interested in one, why not. Not many mosquitoes in March!

 

Depending on dates, you might be able to catch a St Joseph's and/or St Patrick's Day parade.
