A Lovely Island and Beach Tour St. Thomas vs. ST. John Shopping and Leisure Time

Hi,

 

The Lovely Island and Beach Tour Charlotte Amalie/ St. Thomas is 5 hrs and 15 mis long and costs $40.17 per adult while the St John Guided Shopping and Leisure Time is 6 hrs and 30 mins and is 41.20 per adult. I was wondering if anyone has done either or both of these shopping tours and which one was better for shopping for local crafts and other unique items?

 

Also, for the St. Guided Shopping and Leisure Time is there a ferry ride provided back or do we need to find our own way?

 

This is for the Freedom of The Seas Cruise ship. :)
