NewbieCrsr Posted July 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2010 I know all ships and itineraries are different, but does anyone have a cruise compass from Thanksgiving Day? RCI's website says there are Thanksgiving Day activities and I was just curious to see what types of family activities they had outside of a normal compass. Cheerysmom Posted July 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2010 My sister and I were on a cruise in Italy for Thanksgiving last year. We didn't think there would be much in the way of Thanksgiving activities as it is an American Holiday. Well some of the staff dressed as pilgrims and a turkey ... there were table decorations, turkey and stuffing on the menu. The children's program did a play . ... and best of all and very unexpected, the whole waitstaff sang America the Beautiful. It was very moving considering they had to learn that song for just that one evening - There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Well done. and a memory my sister and I will always share.
