grak Posted July 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2010 I'm changing planes on a Delta carrier -- I have less than 40 minues after arrival to catch the next flight. Is the airport hard to navigate? I'd appreciate suggestions.
CruiserBruce Posted July 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2010 If you just a couple of threads down, you will see this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1236487 Look at post #7. Very helpful. 40 minutes is WAY too tight!
Rare FlyerTalker Posted July 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2010 The main thing to remember at MSP is keep moving. Lots of distance to cover. One thing many people ignore is the connector between the C and G concourses (around C12 and G18) It makes for a "square" of routes, with the C and G concourses making two opposite sides, the terminal as the third and the connector as the fourth. There are moving walkways on the connector, while there is none through the terminal, so sometimes it's better to take the connector. Look at the MSP maps on the airport website and the DL website. Have an idea in your mind of the layout, then execute your plan on arrival.
frugaltravel Posted July 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2010 40 minutes is certainly a legal connection in MSP. But as was said, you need to keep moving. I have made much shorter connections, though I prefer 1 hour or more in any airport if possible.
