Western itinerary on Oasis - Costa Maya or Farmouth ?

Recommended Posts

Ports of call of the Western route seem to be the same right up to march 2011 (included). Then, in april, Farmouth replaces Costa Maya.

Our cruise is scheduled for april, I was wondering if the first planified itinerary has already changed before. Does anybody cruising on the Oasis in january, february or march have had a change of route or was Costa Maya always in the western itinerary ?

Trying to know if the schedule for Farmouth has been pushed back.

Regards and thanks to all.

Just found this.

It's the most recent. Apparently, the port should open jan 7 2011 (Navigator) and should be able to accept both Oasis class ships in march.

But still, the schedule has already been pushed back, so I'm not so sure it will be ready in march-april next year.

I sincerely hope it is.

The pier is almost finished or may even be finished by now. Again, Holland America is calling on Falmouth next month so ships will be able to dock. The entire port will not be complete by the time that RCI starts to use the port full time. It will take several years to finish all that is planned for Falmouth. Most excursions will either take guests to Ocho Rios or Montego Bay.
