Snorkeling in the Cenotes....

Need some help! Would love to snorkel the cenotes, actually would prefer SCUBA but have some non-scuba certified travelers in our party. Does anyone know of a tour operator online that offers such tours, or can this be done on your own. Which ones are the best, etc. :)

Sorry - don't know what the cost would be to get there by taxi (when I went I was on a tour). There will be an admissionto get into the site (did not really pay attention since it was included in our tour) See the ruins and the little museum while you are there. The cenote is a short walk from the entrance. There are very large (nice for changing in and out of wet bathing suits) very clean washrooms at the entrance.

We were there in Dec. (through ship's tour). The guide said it was something like 130 ft. deep at the one end. It's fresh water and it's connected to an underwater cave.
