k2excursion Posted November 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2010 We were on the Triumph last week for their 5-day cruise, and we were very impressed with their high energy, New Orleans themed song-and-dance show, "The Big Easy", on the final night. For the life of me, I can't remember the songs from that show, other than "When the Saints Go Marching In" and "At Last". With impressive shows like that one, I like to buy the songs and put together CDs that remind me of the shows. Does anyone who has seen this show remember any other songs from it? Thanks! I remember seeing that show on another ship, but can't remember which one and it was great. You might do a search on You-Tube for clips from the show. Even though it is strictly forbidden by Carnival to tape their copyrighted shows, there are always some to whom life's rules do not apply,:D so there are lots of these things posted on You-Tube. golfadj Posted November 18, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2010 I kind of remember that most of the songs were not familiar to us.
WOWGirl Posted November 18, 2010 #7 Share Posted November 18, 2010 I remember "The House of the Rising Sun" and it was like a mad-hatter voodoo guy singing with gargoyles in the background. It was pretty amazing.

Genesis803 Posted April 14, 2011 #11 Share Posted April 14, 2011 That is a great show! Probably the best I've seen. They should have it on every ship.
Tralynn Posted April 14, 2011 #12 Share Posted April 14, 2011 That was the best show I have seen on any of my cruises. I've cruised RCI, Carnival, and Princess. I'd love to see that show again!

blondietink Posted August 28, 2015 #14 Share Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) I remember "The House of the Rising Sun" and it was like a mad-hatter voodoo guy singing with gargoyles in the background. It was pretty amazing. We saw the Big Easy show on the Legend in 2011 and the person who sang this song was the best I have ever heard. It gave me shivers it was so good.
