megsie Posted November 27, 2010 #8 Share Posted November 27, 2010 Looks like she's on her way. Maybe they had to wait for an available Harbour pilot as we did when the Oriana was late leaving earlier this month. It's sad, a Saturday night and I'm watching The Rocks Webcam for the Rhapsody leaving Sydney!

Cassalou Posted November 27, 2010 #16 Share Posted November 27, 2010 Our cruise on Rhapsody which departed Sydney on November 8 also had a short delay. We were scheduled to depart at 6.30pm and ended up leaving approx 8.00pm
livingstone Posted November 27, 2010 Author #17 Share Posted November 27, 2010 Call me sad, but I spent my Saturday evening with one eye on Het, Hey and one eye on the web cam. I was watching and waiting for rhapsody to depart Sydney. I had worked night duty the night before and was generally stuffed from lack of sleep, sona mindless activity like watching a ship in Sydney Harbour was about the most stimulation my brain could take at that point in time. Nothing sad about the webcam/cruise side... just hey hey :) We got delayed in July from leaving and it was quite nice leaving at night and see most of the city all lit up

Hi, My neice is on that ceuise .she sent me a text msg at 7pm and said they were delayed waiting for bunkering.not a bad place to be delayed from...sydney harbour Col:)
Stuartm Posted November 27, 2010 #20 Share Posted November 27, 2010 Not sure what bunkering is, but when I left the Opera House at 10.15pm last night, I was surprised to see the Rhapsody still there and a vessel that looked like a refuelling barge was along side. I didn't mind, you so rarely get to see one of the larger cruise ships lit up at night. I imagine the only frustrated people onboard were those hankering for the casino to open!
