Cost to rent a Tux?

Recommended Posts

My guess is probably yes. On the otherhand, you could always drag your tux with you but don't forget to calculate the cost of the hassle, checked bagge charge, dry cleaning and shirt laundry. Adding all of that often makes me vote for renting. I just bring my own studs, cufflinks and other small items.

Renting is sure convenient, but even if you have to pay for an extra bag for the tux alone [which I never have] and have it cleaned, pressed, etc. it is still cheaper to bring your own.

I have a black suit that I carry and have a 10-pleat shirt and bow tie that I add to make a "tux". The suit does multiple duty and limits the amount I pack.
