Recommended Posts

Has anyone done the Marriott day pass in the last few weeks? If so, how was your experience? Could you please tell me if their 1-869-466-1200 number is toll free? Thank you! :)

Would you mind sharing how you booked it? I'll be there in May and am interested in it. Thanks!

Just took a taxi there, walked up to the front desk and told them we wanted a day pass :)

What about getting a room for the day. Do they still offer a room and how many people does it include? Anyone reserved a room for the day lately?

I just got off the phone with the Marriot ( Feb.,25 @11:26 am A.S.T) and I was told that they have two types of day passes, one for $35 which gives you a drink and use of hotel the second is $65 and includes the use of a room for the day. Prices are per person.

Yes, day passes are $35.00 per person. Or you can rent a day room for $65.00 plus tax.

Did you try the Royal St Kitts Marriott? I have not called myself, but on their website it does mention a day pass.

i just e-mailed them and told me that they don;t give any day passes

Well you were given incorrect information because they most certainly do. The hotel I'm referring to is the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino located at 858 Frigate Bay Road.

yes i got a e-mail back The St. Kitts Marriott Resort and The Royal Beach Casino offers two options for their day passes:

The first type of day pass the hotel offers will include a guest room. The cost is $65.00 USD (United States Dollars), per room, with a limit in the room of four people. The hotel does require advance notice, at least 24 hours. The reservations must be booked with them directly. Please be aware that this option is based strictly on hotel availability, and can not be guaranteed.

The second option, the day pass is available for $35.00 USD, per person (inclusive of tax and service charge).

The day pass prices are the same regardless of age, or membership status.

The hotel does not require advance purchase of the $35.00 USD day passes. You can purchase them from the front desk upon arrival.

Do you guys know how far the Marriott is from the cruise port? How much it would be to take a cab there?

Thanks!

$10.00 cab ride and a hotel room for $65.00 and the run of the place. Lovely beach, fabulous pool. You won't do better than that on any excursion. We just walked right in and it was no muss or fuss. Had lunch by the pool. Great way to spend the day in St. Kitts.

Terrific. A definite possibility for my upcoming trip.

I do worry about taking cabs on islands without knowing how far the trip is. I have a stomach condition (ulcerative colitis) and I like to know exactly where I am going and how far it's going to take. But for $10, it can't be that far. This sounds a lot cheaper than the excursions we are taking.

Sounds like fun, thanks for the tip.

One more question- do you guys know if there are water sport activities there? Parasailing, etc?

So you did not make a reservation prior to you arrival? I am so unsure about St Kitts, did you have alot of vendors bothering you there? Thanks for any help.
