QM2 Pics of Adelaide Departure

Recommended Posts

Managed to get down to see the QM2 depart. What a mad house. Roads were made one way to cope with amount of cars heading to outer harbour. The poor Amadea could see daylight once she pulled out

I think I will catch the train from Port Adelaide next year. The traffic was horrid.

Thanks for these photos, they are great. I have also been following Amadea and yes, she would have been a bit dwarfed! Talking of Amadea, her current cruise looks very interesting, does anyone know much about her?

Cheers

Richard

Thanks for the wonderful photos. My good friend is on her but getting off at Sydney where we get on. I hope someone takes some great photos like that.

The Outer Harbour berth for large ships is amazing close for photographs. As ships leave the berth and sail down the channel the distance between spectators and the ship is only about 100 metres. I have trouble fitting ships in the frame of my camera at this distance and Purpledragon has done an excellent job with the photos.
