Hotwire icons in their Package program helped me a lot for a NOLA hotel as they name the hotel. However, with that in mind, I won the bid on Priceline @ $50 per night at the Hyatt. Price out a package by putting in your city of departure for the air fare and giving fictious dates that would include your nights of stay usually over a weekend. When the package hotels come up, take note of their star reference and their picture icons and districts. Then go back yo yhr hotel bid area and just request the district you want and see if some of the icons match up. You would have a pretty good chance of the hotel being the same one. Not 100% reliable, but a good bet! Hyatt at the Business District was very good for the last week of October. It included a free trolley into the FQ and to the casino. It was within walking distance of St. Charles St. trolley, Mothers and not a bad walk to the FQ in the day light hours. It was about an $8 taxi ride to FQ restuarants.

Bon Voyage

We stayed at the Magnolia Mansion. What a great old mansion. 1 block from St. Charles street trolley. I think we paid 275.00 for 5 nites through hotels.com .

We were there this last September and what a great city!

Have fun
