Anyone do the Thrillerboat ride in Aruba?

We're getting ready to book our excursions for our honeymoon in July. We're going on Adventure of teh Seas on RC. it's my 4th cruise with them. We're not sure if we want to do the Thrillerboat ride or just take a taxi to a beach. Has anyone done the Thrillerboat in Aruba?

I have done the Thriller speedboat ride when I did a land vacation in Sept. It was AWESOME!!! It leaves from the DePalm pier by the Aruba Grand Hotel in the High Rise area. THe ride is wetter and bumpier the further back you sit. They provide goggles to protect you from the spray of the water. They really take you out into the open sea!!!! It really was a roller coaster ride on the ocean. The ride is an one hour in duration. So it gives you time to enjoy the beach right after it. I recommend it.

I'm interested in this also but the tour times through the ship won't work with our planned schedule that day. Is it possible to book this on your own for an afternoon (around 3pm) ride?
