Frank's tours or Spencer

Sorry, can't compare the two...we only use Frank. I recommend sticking with what is good and just asking for what you want, and the best price. He's always been able to acommodate our needs/price.

BTW, if you are wanting to zipline I just talked to Frank (St Lucia Frank on the net for anyone who doesn't know who we are talking about) and he is offering zipline for $60 through November I think it was.

We loved Spencer's tour. We did the land part with Spencer himself in his car-he's funny and outspoken, has a lot of stories, and makes the best rum punch we have had in the Caribbeans. Because of the narrow, winding roads and the concerns about rush hour traffic, we do think that it's worth spending the extra money on the sea part. Not to mention the fact that we enjoyed it a lot. You get new views. We do recommend Spencer Ambrose.

We have done Frank before and had a great time even in the rain...But I'm hearing Spencer has a great tour too..is the boat tour worth the extra cost?

We (6 adults) toured with Spencer Ambrose on April 28, 2011 on the Land & Sea Adventure, and we all agree that the 'return to port' by sea is an excellent choice. Spencer filled the trip to Jalousie with a stop for Creole bread, a stop for fresh bananas, a stop at the sulphur pits and tons of colorful insights. Jalousie is a fantastic beach, but that has nothing to do with Spencer or anyone else except God.

The return by sea is a different view of St. Lucia. Just as beautiful, but completely different. There are waterfalls, and deserted beaches and Marigot homes. In addition, Spencer drops you at a port access which is literally steps from the cruise ships.

The return by sea also avoids traffic problems that can occur on the tightly twisting roads of St. Lucia and possibly result is a late (or almost late) return to the ship. Accidents or 'learning drivers' can result in unavoidable delays. In fact, on our trip TO Jalousie Beach, we stopped to take on passengers from a taxi which had broken down.

Have never done Frank's tour but did Spencer's Jalouise Beach Break tour last month. Tour was awesome. We took the boat ride over to the beach and spent the entire day relaxing on the beach. The beach also has a fantastic snorkel area. Spencer served lunch then the we took the boat ride back. Great relaxing day. Spencer stopped along the ride to point out some interesting points like the Bat Cave.
