need some Dominican Republic advice

I understand the emotional response. Let's just not pretend it's logical.

 

Let's see.....he hated it there and based on that he's not going back. What is so illogical about that Spock?

I visited Samana in January and it is now my favorite port. Not so commerialized like St. Thomas and the like. Just undeveloped beautiful Carribean. The people are poor but seemed to be happy and were all very friendly.

I will def. scope out a DR port for my next cruise.

Oh wait, I see your from Florida...that expains it all. Retired...75+...not a damn thing to do but troll web sites...useless. Hey, that explains the number of posts on this site. :D

 

Actually, they have been a member since 2005 and average 1.65 posts a day. That would attribute their number of postings. I have basically the same posting stats about (1.5 a day), so it has nothing to do with demographics.

We are going in Nov. Kinda bummed we will miss the whale watching:( Has anyone gone to Caya Levantado? If so please pass along any highlights, tips and such. Thanks fellow CCers!
