Memorabilia/Scrapbook opinions please!

I was on the Maiden Voyage cruise of Allure back in December. I'm starting to think about beginning my scrapbook of the cruise and I have a question. We were given a beautiful portfolio thingie. It has a Caribbean map/Title thing on the front, and inside is an 8X10 photo of Allure and a Certificate of Commemoration for the Maiden Voyage.

 

Should I remove these items from the portfolio thingie and put them in my album...or should I scan them, and put the scans in my album and leave the original intact?

 

I don't have a lot of room in my home to display something like this...so it's been put away for "another day". I don't want to ruin something that could be of value someday. But..it's also more likely to get lost or ruined if I keep it "as is". the items would be safe in a scrapbook..but they would be minus the portfolio.

 

Opinions please??

Leave the portfolio as is. Scan what you want to use in the scrapbook.

Ditto... my scanner will do in color and hopefully you get good quality.. Once you scrap it into a page protector bet no one will even know it's not 'real' thing :)
