Just booked the Glory, anything I should know?

Just booked the 5/28/05 sailing of the Glory. We got an 8A cabin. I'm very excited to finally be on a new(er) Carnival ship. Any tips, suggestions or comments? Thanks:D

There are plenty of Glory cruisers who have shared their wealth of information with me. I too, will be a first time Glory and Carnival cruiser this July.

We were on the Glory in November and had a wonderful time. The ship is beautiful and the crew was wonderful and always eager to help in any way. Just relax and have a great time.

Hey we will be getting off the ship as you get on! We sail on 5.21.05. Can't wait.

We sailed the Glory last May and it was Wonderful! For as large as it is, and for the number of people on board, it never really seemed crowded. We thought the ship was beautiful, and spent a lot of time just roaming about, and checked out all of the bars along the way.

 

Be sure to try the Fish and Chips, it's on the second floor of the Lido dinning area.

I always ate around Fish and Chips ... even when not eating that food specifically ... it is just more relaxing eating in the releative peace of the 2nd floor of the Red Sail Restaurant.

I was on the Glory last year. Great ship! You will love it. I do have the Capers for the Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Let me know your email address and I will send them to you. I will have to send multiple emails b/c they are very larger files - about 13MB. :)

:) For all you guys who've been on the Glory/Western Carrib/7day: Is the 1st formal nite (Captain's Party) on Sunday or Monday? Also is it Starboard or Port Side that is smoking? I've also heard about and seen on a cruise site a picture of a sheet of paper that says "Carnival's Famous Drink Coupons". Has anyone heard of these?

We will be going on the Glory in about a month for the 4th time. You will love the ship. A must to do is the supper club, its worth the $25 per person.

For the Western, the first formal night is the first day at sea, which is Monday.

When we were on the Glory this past Feb. it broke down. :eek: Hope you have better luck!!! We are still waiting for a response from Carnival about missing two out of the three ports, but are losing hope. :mad:

Got my letter from Carnival for the 2/19/05 cruise said they will give me 150 pp toward another cruise .well the ship is nice just hope it keeps running for ya
