Hi all!

Bob ~ glad to hear all went well & hope Holli feels better soon. Good idea to wait & see for the Emerald cruise, it's still quite far away & you can always cancel prior to final payment without penalty right?

Grandpaul ~ I'm waiting to see what the other bus company I've used is offering on their Hudson River tour. Sometimes they don't get enough people to do it. It goes to West Point & the Culinary Institute as well as some mansions.

Ann:cool: ~ how's the new vehicle? Did I see you have less than 3 weeks until your next cruise?

Have a nice evening.

~ Jo ~:)
I love, love, love my new car. This car does so many things. My old car did not have all the bells and whistles like this one. I have 3 manuals to read on the various aspects of the car. It has 7 computers on it which means more to possibly go wrong so I have all the maintenance coverage.
And yes, the next cruise is 3 weeks from Saturday. Getting anxious for it to get here. We are on the Crown Princess and they are having troubles right now with the nirovirus. I figure in 3 weeks, that ship will be sqeeky clean. Edited by cruisin'low

Ann, I saw that about the Norovirus. Should be all clean by then. I liked the Crown. Little different from other ships.

Bob, glad to see Holli handled thie operation as good as she did. It is a tough one but she sounds good. I would bet you are going to make that cruise. Not that I ever bet. Well, I did today at the racino and came home with more than I got there with.

Went to my Granddaughters show today. She is a sweetheart. And she makes a great crayon. Funny how all those girls made colors come to life.

Under 400 hours. 398.

I'm sitting here watching the National Collegiate Hockey Championship game. There's a college about 15 miles from my house called Union COllege and they are actually in the game against Minnesota and Union is leading 5-3 with 7 minute left. Can't believe it. Incredible. Hope I didn't speak too early. Back tot he game.

Even more amazing than Un ion winning was I went to mt twin Granddaughters basketball game on Long Island today. 5th and 6th grade team. Game went 2 overtimes and they won by 2 points. A little girl on their team made 2 foul shots at the end of regulation to tie the game. Incredible. And I'm off to the racino tomorrow. HHmmmmm.

Went to the racino today. After stopping at the military National cemetery to honor and say "Hello" to some friends and family members there. Hit the racino pretty good but Mary Lou didn't hit anything and after an hour wanted to head home. After free lunch we did that. Did very well but don't tell Mary Lou.

Congrats to you. Good to win! ! ! !
I am flying off to Vegas in the AM for 4 days @ Caesar’s Palace. Should be fun and I want to go to Serendipity’s Ice Cream place at Caesars. Best ice cream ever. One flavor that I had in NYC was cinnamon. Oh my gosh, it was stupendous.

Hi all!

Bob ~ I see since you found Princess you haven't sailed with any other line.
Are you planning to stick with them?

Grandpaul ~ a free lunch is always nice even if everybody doesn't win.;)

Ann:cool: ~ have a great time & safe travels. Hope you need that Brinks truck this time.

Have a great week no matter where you are.

~ Jo ~ :)

The only problem with a free lunch is I really over eat. And the food is good. ANd I earned enough for another free lunch.

Wish I was in Florida today. Rocket launch at 4:48 PM, our time. Then I would only have 307 hours till our next cruise from Tampa. But gotta work all this week. Filling in for the guy who's filling in for me. Seems fair I guess.

[I]Interesting night last night. I rode with a new guy because his regular training officer was off. We had a domestic call wherein we, along with others had to take a guy to the hoosegow that really didn't want to go. My partner got scratched up along with another guy. There was some concern since the gentleman had Hep-C. While we were at the hospital getting the Deputies checked out, I monitored additional radio traffic wherein a Deputy was foot chasing someone who tossed a firearm. We all ran out of the hospital to assist. After the young man was taken into custody, my partner and I were detailed to provide security for him at the hospital due to injuries he had received. While At the hospital, we were contacted by a security guard (30 minutes after we were supposed to be of at 2200) and advised that an unrelated (to our incident) domestic suspect was trying to get into the hospital and "re-assault" his wife whom he had assaulted earlier. We were relieved of our security duty and went to the bad guys address to try and apprehend him. As we knocked on the front door, the gentleman ran out the back door and over numerous fences. He unfortunately evaded us. We then went back to the station to complete our reports. We left the station at 0330 this morning. I had to just now get up because of a doctors appointment Holli needs to go to.

There just might be something to this retirement thing.....:D:D:D

Sure sounds like an interesting night Bob. Could be a TV show called Cops or something. My son had to go on an emergency call to another hospital last night. A baby was born with a serious medical condition. So between him and the Doctor they got the baby back to their hospital and managed to get him under control. Should be okay. I said "The mother must be happy". He told me she is giving the baby up for adoption and didn't want to see or hear about him. That wouldn't be a good tv show.

A couple minutes under 303 hours. Should be under 300 when I wake up if I can get to sleep. Got home tonight and the car Mary Lou drives stopped working. Engine starts but no gear works. I think we'll fix that when I get back so I have money for the casino. LOL. Hey priorities.

[I]I was actually on an episode years ago. Not one of the cops that talk, I was just seen on the background. So much for getting my SAG card:D.

Good job your son did. Terrible what the mother is doing to the infant.....

I believe it's just the linkage which is easy to fix. I called my usual transmission place to look at it and they are closed for a week. Vacation. I'll tell them when I have to pay them that my bank is on vacation.

Bob, perfect description of winter this year. But I think we are done with it now. What could happen? Been busy at the hospital and I'm happy with that. Makes the time go by quicker. I'm sure I'll find time to relax on the ship.
