samur trip to klein bonaire

We went on it and had a great time. You must transfer though from a small boat onto it and then again from it to a small boat as it is too shallow for the samur to dock

How strenuous is this excursion? I am a experienced snorkeler but I am 61 and overweight. Is the climbing from the Samur and into the Zodiac difficult?

Even if your overweight it can be done...it can get a little tricky if it is rough but we just waited for the wave to bring us up and then away we went:) You may have more time snorkeling if you take the water taxi over, we spent most of the time sailing to and from the island. It was lovely especially if you were lucky enough to be one of the people who got a seat, others had to sit on the deck.
