audal29 Posted November 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2011 Haven't seen recent posts about St. Vincent. Anyone been there lately? Any good beaches? Any good tours? We have been to St Vincent 3 times and last time were happier sitting on our balcony. 1st time we went we went on a motor taxi to a beach which wasnt up to much also sea very rough away from the harbour we were drenched. 2nd time walked to town but that wasnt up to much either, came back and had a taxi tour, only get a taxi at the port and not outside the port gates. Not our favourite island.

Not our favourite island. Thank you for your information. We are no longer beach people and really don't want to just sit on our verandah. Since I have mobility problems a walk into town is out. Looks like we will have to settle for a ship's excursion.
Ocala Cruisers Posted January 1, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2012 We are just back from St. Vincent on the Maasdam. First time there and we found a great tour guide at the pier. His name was Cally and he had a very nice van. $30 a person for 2 -2/12 hour tour. Would highly recommend him.
Naomi2 Posted January 2, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Hi, We will be in St. Vincent in February on the Maasdam also. How many people will Cally's van hold? Also does he have a website or do we have to find him on the pier? Where did you go on your tour? We were thinking of trying to book a boat to Bequia but are open to other options as we don't have a large group at present and our roll call is very quiet. Yours, Naomi2
