On a side note she is married to the manager of Chops, unless he is on vacation, and someone else is managing. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name but he is a very tall gentleman. I guess it would be Mr Fernandez:p

As recently as April she wasn't married. Her boyfriend was on Oasis and she rejoined him after a temporary position as DL concierge on Radiance. Did they get married? I think that has been her name for a while.

Intersting... She told us in May of this year that her husband was the manager at Chops and we made a comment to him about seeing Charmaine in the CL and he smiled. In July we were back on Oasis and Charmaine asked use where we going for dinner tonight, and we replied your husbands place and she had a laugh.

 

Maybe there were just referring to each other as spouses, perhaps they got married since you had last seen them or they have a good inside joke?? I am pretty sure that she said they have a shared cabin though as a married couple, when we asked how the sleeping arrangements worked. Maybe she said they were engaged, but my memory is saying married. Perhaps after the April break absence make the heart grow fond, and out came the engagement?

 

We won't be back to Oasis until March, so I will have to secretly look for wedding bands;) and I will have to report back to CC HQ:p.

Thanks...maybe you can get a more specific date for the diamond concierge too.:)

Yes, we met Charmine on Radiance in the D lounge.

 

Her husband is the Chops manager. They've been married 9 years and have a 9 year old daughter. I''ll see what I can find out about how long the D concierge will be onboard.

 

So I wonder what this deal was that she told us about. She had a daughter by her prior marriage and has a boyfriend now. :eek: I could have sworn that was the exact story. Maybe her husband is her boyfriend. :rolleyes: LOL After all these years.....

Maybe they are just having fun with us overall. I was pretty sure that they were married as my memory is really good, but on holidays I don't remember everything.

Charmaine's husband is onboard. His name is Neeraj Shetty and, yes, he's the manager of Chops.

 

Thanks...maybe you can get a more specific date for the diamond concierge too.:)

 

Sorry but I wasn't able to get any information about dates for the Diamond Concierge.

They may very well have gotten married. Or like many permanent couples they may just call each other husband and wife for simplicity.

 

We know one couple in the MDR with a child who called each other husband and wife and then several cruises later they asked us if we'd be able to come to their wedding. :D
