Apartment Short Stay London

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good site to locate an apartment in Central London for 3 nights? We can get a good hotel for $200AUD per couple (there are two couples) but we really will need laundry facilities after a week on a canal boat so are looking at a self catering apartment instead frou around the same money i.e. $400 AUD per night.

Sue

I'm sorry you've not had any answers, but you'll find this sort of question will be dealt with on the thread "Ports Of Call", further down the index page. Go to Europe, then press the British etc page.....that's where the Londoners hang out!

Jo.

Some London hotels have self service laundry facilities, the Strand Palace Hotel did the last time I stayed there. I see the Doubletree Westminster does too. Also, you could consider university accommodation, some of which is quite comfortable while also having access to good amenities. And not all apartments will have laundry facilities.

booking.com shows the Flexistay Central Serviced Apartments, 68 Charlotte St, Fitzrovia, near to Oxford Street.

Here is the description:

Just 1700 ft from lively Oxford Street, Flexistay Central Serviced Apartments are a 10-minute walk from the British Museum. They feature modern decor and free Wi-Fi.

The 2-bedroom Flexistay apartment has an open-plan living area with sofas and a TV/DVD player. The apartment features stylish hardwood floors, and there is also a private bathroom with a hairdryer.

The Flexistay Central Serviced Apartments have a equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave and refrigerator. There is also a cozy dining area, and laundry facilities are provided.

Flexistay Apartments are just 500 ft from Goodge Street Subway Station. Covent Garden and Theatreland can be reached in a 10-minute walk, and vibrant Soho is 2000 ft away.

The Flexistay team provides a weekly maid service, and staff is on call 24 hours for support and assistance.

There was no availability for the random date in July I picked, so it depends when you want it for - don;t forget that London is fully booked out during the Olympics between July 27th and Aug 12th.

Good luck!
