adolfo2 Posted April 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2005 Could it be that this September's NY Three-Day is the last  I can't find it anywhere in the recently posted 2006 schedule
Martita B. Posted April 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2005 Adolfo~~~~I certainly HOPE NOT! That would be a disaster if we couldn't have our "Gilligan's Island Three Day Tour!" I have invited a very special guest to fly up and have luncheon with us on Sept. 15th. She accepted, so we'll mention this to her. Any cruises booked for summer? Don't forget.......you and Missy A., bring your "goofy hats" for the Sail-a-bration! Hugs for both of you! Martita B.

Martita B. Posted April 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Sailor's~~~I'm afraid Seabourn could not "fit our 3 Day" in their 2006 schedule. I received word that is was simply not possible.........sooo, What will we do for a re=placement? Any thoughts? See all of you for sure Sept. 15th........if not before! Miss M. aaannnthony Posted April 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Martita/Martha, yes, the Pride will by-pass NYC in 2006, shame, shame! However, we'll celebrate the last, hopefully not, great NY Waterway cruises in September 2005! Can you please generate some more activity on this year's T/A from London beginning 8/28.....my thread begs for more action......THANKS!!
Martita B. Posted April 21, 2005 #6 Share Posted April 21, 2005 Anthony~~~I don't know why many of the "old timers" have not "dropped by" lately~~~~I can name at least 6 that have choosen not to post the past few months. One of the reasons that I did not write a full review of our Pride Crossing........may still decide to "tell the tales!" We had a most remarkable 12 days.......everyone on the Pride seemed to enjoy themselves every minute!Everyone was genuinely happy to see one another everyday......in the dining room in the evenings, "this couple would stop by that table for desert"...."that couple would go have coffee and an after dinner drink over somewhere else"....it was "musical chairs"......I NEVER heard one complaint.....or any discontentment! We've all been aboard when there are a few that board miserable......stay miserable and disembark the same! Most likely, very unhappy at home......welp, not this Crossing! It was amazing~~~I've said, "Never before and never again will there be such a Seabourn Crossing...." And for many of us it was bitter-sweet.......without Herman Diaz. We missed him terribly as he always added sooooo much to our fun and parties! (I miss all his e-mails and his phone calls~~~) Yes, I'll be happy to bring out "my cattle prod" and help you jump start the Aug. Crossing....... Happy Trails and Sails...... garycarla Posted April 26, 2005 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2005 Getting back to the topic, it looks like there will not be ANY stops in NYC at all in 2006. The eastern seaboard cruise looks like Boston is the new home. Hmmm?
