That stinks that your review didn't post! We were all looking forward to it. you should write it again, even if it is just a travel documentary for yourself and save it to your computer. Anyway, alot of us posted questions for you on this thread:

Great....a recent cruiser aboard Fascination.

How was the condition of the ship?

How was the service?

What did you do in Key West?

Was the water slide open?

How was the airconditioning in the public rooms and stateroom?

We did not do excursions in either port - just explored on our own. We LOVED Key West - peaceful, beautiful, lovely nice people there. Cozumel was nice, gorgeous water, - wow - I have never seen blue water before - we live in Maryland and we have brown yucky dirty water here! We went to Paradise Beach - it was very nice, Extremely CLEAN restrooms and beach - very nice staff, short $12 taxi ride each way, highly recommend - oh and great food too!!

Service on the ship was incredible - immaculate rooms, great food. Airconditioning in the public rooms was cool - I needed a light sweater at dinner, shows, casino, etc... Water slide was open everytime it said it was gonna be open, I didn't use it though.

I did bring a few sodas on board - because I NEED a Mountain Dew every morning - and no one said anything, not airport - not cruiseline. Lots of peole told us they brought wine on board - must be ok.

Weather was perfect..........oh my goodness - please if there is a God above - take me BACCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!! Anywhere - pllllleeeeasssseeee!

I have PCD severly:mad: ! But we are looking into a cruise from Baltimore next year so - i must wait:o . Any other ?? let me know.

A question just came up from the group. Do you tip for 5 days or 4 nights? It is sold as a 4 night cruise but the guidelines say $10 pp per day.

We Embark/Debark on Empress Deck. I have to say this - I have read that Carnival sets you free by colors of the tags for your luggage - well on our trip they DID not. We had orange tags - and it was a "herd" of cattle call for getting off the ship, all that said - we were off in about 20 minutes - not bad for approx. 2000 people wanting to leave at the same time..........;)

We booked an Inside Guarantee and were graciously upgraded to the Veranda Deck in V20 - very nice location - our stewards - Re'ka and Vonna were the bomb - no, they would not come home with me!:D

Deco - was it loud - hmmm, well if you are expecting exquisite fine classy decor - then yes it was loud, obnoxious NO - different yes. Suitable in my home - NO, did it bother me - Of course NOT! If you are the type that lets shiny, mirrored public rooms bother you - you might want to do ResidenSEA or the real classy ships. And pay about 4,000 per person to look at Chippendale furniture. Me - I was there for the fantastic vacation with out my darling children!:D

oh Tipping - it was a 4 nite cruise so it was $40 per person - of course we left substantially more for our stewards as they deserved every penny....and more for our head waiter, as he was real sweet to me!;) He brought me every dessert to try each nite - and did not bat one eyelid when I only took a bite or two or three - cause I NEEDED to try them.....:p Renaldo - very sweet and quietly elegant - loved him too.

Hey I did not meet one staff person that was not one 'iota' less then fabulous. Very sweet people. Of course - I treat new faces as potential new friends and smile at everyone I 'run' into. It certainly makes life a little better.

So glad you hear that you had a wonderful experience and that the crew was nice. I can deal with pretty much anything without disappointment as long as the crew is polite and decently personable. The weather for our cruise next week looks wonderful! I hope we have the same blue waters you did! Thanks so much for the info!:D

Hello,

I was wondering if they had a poker room or a table or more setup for texas holdem?

I did not see any texas holdem - cause I have no clue what that is....

No I did not see a poker room either - I am sure they had typical "card" games in the casino - but I am not much help there either - I only do slots:)

Any other ?? just ask!
