Angry Birds vs The Red Frog and a Blue Iguana... A Liberty Review 12/17/2011

Our last day at sea was the day before Christmas Eve.... so we took some shots of the decor around the ship... it was festive, but really blended in with the usual business of the "Farcus" decor...

Over this trip we played a LOT of trivia... The husband usually makes it his goal to hoard as many ships on a stick as possible. On this trip we got 7 trophies... mostly from trivia, but I won one for the game show on stage, and we got one with a bottle of champagne and strawberries from John Heald... YES, I asked.. sue me. We got 3 freakin bottles of that nasty champagne this trip... one from JH, one for dh dancing on stage and one at the art auction. We still have one sitting in our fridge here at home....

Here's some pics of the birds participating and trying to win SOAS.. the angry birds really hated the bean bag toss... I think it was their lack of arms

Man, you can tell I don't look good even after I got to feelin better...

The birds favorite activity aside from winning trophies... people watching...

That last night the birds decided they needed a formal picture to commemorate their cruise...

and spent some time in the casino!

Angry bird tried to warn his yellow friend about pooping in the tray... very glad this happened the last night or else they would have been put off in the next port!

We also did the Farewell party.... Free drinks and a singer... the singer was TERRIBLE. Made me want to cover my ears and roll over, but the drinks were worth staying for....

This is what the birds did the whole time... until they realized they didn't have ears...

Some random favorite pics of the cruise now....

We never did eat in the MDR after I got sick... I just couldn't bring myself to eat that much in one sitting....

but the birds took our place...

This is Sean.. he did most of the trivia while we were on board. I think he's going to the new Breeze in Europe and was very excited about it. We enjoyed him immensely!

The birds nearly bid on a Peter Max... DOH!!!! Seriously....

When we got into the port of Miami on Christmas Eve I was ready to go home... we had a great time though despite the bad. I think I would have been more disappointed if I'd never been to these ports before and a cruise was a one time luxury, but I know there will be many Western Caribbeans ahead of us.

The birds are pissed off I got sick, but whats new. They are counting the days until our next cruise.... 75! We just made final payment and the birds are going to infest Aruba and Curacao with their sourpuss faces and bitter attitudes.... can't wait!

Thanks for reading about our adventure!!!!!

Many warm sunny days to all of you!

Yea! Loved the review, gosh I don't know how that yellow bird managed to get back to the cabin after drinking so much! I'm so glad might get to see a smile from them when you do the ABC islands, one bucket list of islands for me!

Thanks for taking the time to post and storytell, I enjoyed it very much.

Another great review! Thank you. My 10 year old is planning to bring a "friend" from home on our cruise in a few weeks thanks to your reviews. Probably not a friend as big as angry b because we have to fly in but someone....

Sorry you got sick. I got food poisoning in las Vegas 20 years ago and sounds just like your problem. You never forget it. I have never looked at food buffets the same way ( that was where I got sick)

Thanks! We are still debating on whether to bring the birds on the next cruise. We have my parents coming with us who have never cruised before and I'm excited to see it all through their eyes, but I don't want to mar their experience with our shenanigans with the Birds ... LOL We will see!

Have you thought of flat pics of them? (The birds I mean) that way you can fold them and take them out when your folks are looking the other way.... :D
