Gosh, what happened to the Freestyle Dailys site? I found it last night, but they were too hard to read onscreen, so I printed just one page and the printed page was readable, however, I was too tired to go on with the project. But this morning, I can't bring up the site. Any advice?

I'm having trouble getting them all to load. I keep trying but am not sure what's causing the malfunction.

Can you tell me which nights were "Presidents Menu" and/or lobster night in the main dining rooms? I would like to make reservations for alternative dining, but don't want to do so on these two nights! Thanks so much!

Can you tell us a little bit more about the Cruise Critic meeting? Who showed up from the ship, did they place your names on the V.I.P. list or buy drinks during the meeting? Any extras or freebies given? Thanks!

I have a couple of questions for any of you May 30th cruisers. Was there a charge to use the indoor pool? Also, what kind of clothes did you need. Was a shirt and windbreaker warm enough?

Julie, President's Dinner was Tuesday night but we did not go so I'm not sure what was served. Lobster night was Friday night.

cruisingfromMN, Cruise, F&B, and Hotel director attended along with a woman from the staff that helped NJR schedule it. There were no freebies but then again that's not why we scheduled it.

curlstravel, no charge to use the indoor pool. I wore layers, t-shirt, hooded sweatshirt, and lined windbreaker.

Taking a closer look, apparently the .jpeg files are actually .bmp files. But Friday's Freestyle Daily is there, and Monday's cover page. I look forward to the others-- thanks Deb1835!

Hi Deb and all the CC people who were on the cruise with us. Deb you have done a wonderful review. I see also there are a couple of other reviews on our cruise but have not read them yet. We just got our pc back from the shop and now have a little time to spend on it, and to think I don't work outside the home and you seem to have more time to spend on the pc than I seem to. I have a couple of things to add to your review that you did not remember. The lady who helped us with our cc meeting on the ship is Simona Leanca who is the group services cordinator, the Hotel Director is Douglas Hernandez and his ***. Director is Mustafa. Also we would like to tell who was also very nice to us is the Concierge Julie Pienaar. Also if any of you future cruisers are thinking of booking a future cruise while you are on the ship they have 2 of the best young men that we have ever worked with who booked our 2 future cruises, their names are Shaun Harrison and Martin Visser, they both are a pleasure to work with and all they want to do is to please you and that is more than some of the others we have dealt with in the past. Deb please say Hi to your parents when you talk with them again and if you still have my E-mail address please send their phone number and if we ever get over in their area we will give them a call and see if we can meet somewhere for lunch. I have not pulled up your pictures yet and hope we don't have any trouble getting them like Keith is. Also Hi to you Keith and Carol guess you found hot weather when you got home like we did.
Again if any of the crew from the Star should be reading these boards Thank You all for a wonderful cruise it could not been any nicer and since this was the first Alaska cruise this ship has done I was looking for some problems and can say we (husband & I) felt it went very smooth and look forward to sailing with you all again. That news gave me an "eek", as well. On our Sun cruise, Presidents Menu dinner was the culinary highlight of the week, surpassing even Lobster night. We have a large group going whale watching with Capt Larry from 5:30 to 9:00 pm, so I hope they have enough energy and are not too "green" to enjoy this wonderful meal!

I actually should be doing other things instead of being online! I still have stuff on my dining room table from the trip that I haven't put away yet! I just couldn't keep myself away from posting the reviewing, answering ??'s and reliving the whole week!
