Thank you for posting this. The prices are as we were told they would be. Very close to what you would pay at a store and in fact some prices are precisely what you would pay or even slightly lower.

What happened to Tiganello? It is my favorite Super Tuscan and Crystal always had it. I doubt it is on the free pour list.

FYI...the complimentary pours were terrific on my March 19th Symphony cruise and there were many, many choices in all the different dining venues and bars. Please be aware that the wines will change from voyage to voyage. I did see the reserve list that was posted on this thread and was very pleased with the pricing on the wines I am familiar with and had ordered in the past. The list has been dramatically reduced but it's still a very nice selection. I enjoyed the complimentary wines so much that I didn't have a need to order off the reserve list. However, I might do that on a future voyage. I love Far Niente Chardonnay and was thrilled to see the price is now $55 a bottle, gratutity included as opposed to the previous $85 plus a 15% gratuitiy...great deal if you like this wine and I felt the previous price was a fair price. I also enjoy Shafer Merlot and think the new price is outstanding.

I'll echo Nancy about the quality (and abundance) of the "complimentary" wines proffered. We encountered nary a stinker, and, although wine snobs as we are--and provided with an alarming amount of shipboard credit--we never bothered with the reserve lists.

This may, of course, change in the future!

But see, please, my posting in an earlier "All-inclusive" thread #3, for a more particular description of wines offered on the menu.

The list looks good. I see a few anomalies, like pricing a drink of tequila (that retails for about $50/btl) the same as an XO cognac that retails for double or triple that (and is priced per ounce what I'd pay at a good liquor store).

The Oban is also a $50/btl whisky (which my spell-check thinks is an incorrect spelling) that is comparable in retail price to the single-malts that are presumably on the "included" list.

I wonder if the wines for the Vintage Room dinners will come from this list, or whether there will be a special reserve list of wines for those special evenings?

Holy cow! Can this list be right? There's a Napa cult wine on the list for almost $100 less than you'd pay buying direct from the winery?!

Let me jump in here and tell you that this list came from Crystal on board guest services....straight from the home office is as good as it gets. And I agree with some of the pricing....the 2007 Caymus Special Selection at $130 is a great price from any discount wine retailer....if you can find it. Thank you Crystal!

Does anyone know which brand of single malt Scotch is complimentary?

Sheila

Sheila, I'm not a scoth drinker but one of my travel mates on 2207 was really pleased with the extensive complimentary single malt offerings. I hope someone else can give you specifics.

On 2207 we requested Glenmorangie, and presto, a full liter appeared. I note that Macallan is on the reserve list; as far as I know, that list hadn't yet been distributed on the first all-inclusive. We didn't see one, at any rate. Did any 2207-ers?

There was not a list of the reserve spirits or wine for room service available on 2207. My stewardess said they would be putting them in the rooms on 2208. In regards to the connoisseur spirits, the only list I noticed was in the connoisseur lounge but it was by the glass. I do know that my friends tried several different single malt scotches by the glass in the various bar venues and he was very impressed as there were at least 2 glen something or others offered!!!

Thank you so mkuch! What an amazing job, to take the time to type this all in. Much appreciated. Am I the only one who notices how cheap (relative to upscale, landside bars) these prices are????
