cruising cockroach Posted May 17, 2012 #1 Posted May 17, 2012 Just off the Island Princess repo cruise. Top cruisers for this voyage was a couple who had accumulated 899 nights (!) on Princess cruises. Not sure if I ever want to make 1/3oth (about a month) of that! Hard for anyone to be top 3 if they're on your cruise?
Princess Patches Posted May 17, 2012 #2 Posted May 17, 2012 On my cruise last week the most travelled passengers had over 1100 days at sea. I have a mere 250 days and would have to cruise 30 days per year for the next 30 years just to catch up! It is difficult to make the top 40 luncheon any longer with less than 300 days. Passengers seem to be living on cruise ships these days. Love the cute photo of the Cathay!
paul929207 Posted May 17, 2012 #3 Posted May 17, 2012 There are a lot of fairly young retirees who take multiple cruises each year. I am proud to include my wife & I in that group. We are fortunate to be able to cruise 50 to 100 days per year.
Rare PescadoAmarillo Posted May 17, 2012 #4 Posted May 17, 2012 Long stayers? Sounds something like fish and company... The most traveled we've ever met had almost 1500 days, and they told us there are many with more than that. The funny thing is that most of these folks appear healthy and active and are still cruising around 150 days a year. We'll never catch up.:(
caribill Posted May 17, 2012 #5 Posted May 17, 2012 On a Star Princess cruise earlier this year, the most traveled passenger had 1575 days. On a Pacific Princess cruise last year, it was over 2000 days.
