Time for our last stop, Rasta's mon!

What a relaxing place, hammocks, reggae music, ocean and margarita's, can't ask for anything better. I met the owner and his little girl was there, I think 3 big white people scared her a little, she was shy, but apparently she took a liking to me, cause next thing I know she pops in the hammock beside me giggling and talking. I had yet another shot and great margarita here and some awesome coconut shrimp. Hubby wrote are names on the zion wall, but w/the wrong date, (I won't tell), apparently his beers were hitting him too.:D I would have hung out here all day. We purchased more t-shirts too. Oh, and my camera died so these pics are with my phone.

Alas, it is time to say adios, boo. Well, I hope you can see why I chose this side of Coz, we will definitely be back again! We drove back to the market, tipped/hugged our guides and off we are to shop, we still have about 2 hrs.

Saw some friends in the market, one of them took this pic, he must have had a few shots of tequila too.:p

I was feeling pretty good:p, got back to the ship and got some food and went to the smoking table with some friends, starting hydrating myself with water, tea, lemonade etc, took 2 advil, just in case. Later went to hot tub and went back to the room to change and get ready for the Lido party. Ha! I got a major frontal lobe headache! Apparently there is a difference in American margaritas and Mexican! I was down for the night at 9:00 p.m. DH said it rained and they brought the party inside, he went and brought us back some mexican buffet goodies, I woke up the next morning at 10:00! My son asks me, "Mom why did you take down some of your decorations?", I said, I didn't, apparently the drunk Cozumel seniors on our floor needed to play Pin the Tail on the Donkey. :D

Funny, I had gotten my shower and was waiting on DH to go eat breakfast, I opened our door to the hallway and I hear my steward, Rony, say in his Indonesian accent, "Miss Lisa, are you alive?" Too damn funny, I never saw him, how the heck did he know I had a hangover, yes, I tipped him well.

Well, I will try to finish up tomorrow, fingers are getting tired.;)

Happy Sailing,

Okay, you have now officially talked me into doing the Bar Hop Tour in January when we return to Cozumel! Almost did it in May but decided on visiting Punta Sur instead (so I could snorkel).

I love, love, love that side of the island, it is soooooo wild and wonderful! Now I am going to sit here at work and think about it all day.....

Holy Moly! If I had HALF of that last martini I would fall off the bar stool!:o LOVE Tequila but it goes RIGHT to my brain! That picture of you and Albert in post #92 with the blue margarita, I swear you could be brother and sister! :D I am having so much fun reading about YOUR fun! I'd love to cruise with you someday!

LOL, tequila is my BFF, only silver hits me stronger, guess I just have a good metabolism :p

It's funny you say that about my son, at the bars on the ship, if we were standing together some people would ask if we were brother/sister or Lord knows one woman thought he was "my man", lol, no cougar here sista!:p

We have a short cruise on the Sensation for DH 50th birthday in Nov (SURPRISE!) but I am almost ready to book a BTB Breeze for Nov/2013!!! 14 days of cruising, oh yeah! I just know I am going to luv that ship!

Happy Sailing,

Glad you enjoyed the pics, it really is beautiful, I think next time we will do the dolphin swim, I hear that's awesome too. If you sign up, tell Colleen, your were referred by the Headrick Irish Breakfast Club, she'll know what you mean! She put us on their Twitter page! :) She's very sweet, she just got engaged too. After the 2nd stop I went ahead and tipped her and Carlos, told them I want to make sure before I get tequila saturated that I had enough $$$, they looked surprised and said, "Hey, that's a first, people usually tip at the end and sometimes they spend all their money and we don't get one.

is there a trick? Will the bartender tell me how to drink it and what to do? I'm hoping to try one!! I'm sure it will knock me on my butt!! LOL But it sounds soooo yummy!!!

Sunshine,

The only trick here is not to drink too many!:p:D

No, really, all your doing is taking 2 shots. Jameson as quick as possible followed immediately by the schnapps, just makes sure its butterscotch, it quickly changes tastes in your mouth, its just hilarious to watch people's faces when they realized they just had breakfast. :)

Friday, Sea Day

We woke up about 10:00 and headed out for breakfast again on the back aft, we were eating and I looked up and saw some dolphins riding the wake of the ship! I couldn't get a pic quick enough though, but I finally got to see some! I had eggs benedict, bacon, hashbrown patties and lots of coffee. In fact I drank coffee all day, guess all those margarita's wore me out!:D

On my last cruise, last sea day seemed to be a last ditch effort to drink as much as possible and party, but this day I noticed everyone moving a little slow, nursing a few hangovers and not as much drinking. I guess Cozumel & mexican deck party did some of these guys in.:D

We wondered up to the watch sale to see the offerings, we didn't find anything we were interested in though. I did purchase some t-shirts for $10. We did not attend the art auction's, I did see they had some Thomas Kinkade, we walked thru the hallway and took a few pics of some of the day's upcoming art auction goodies, I was excited to see something from Joe Montana, luv him!

We then went to the ATM to get some $$$, one is located by Guest Services and the charge is $6. I used the S & S kiosks the whole time to check charges, add $$, print statements. They are located right next to the casino bar (very convenient for us):p, deck 7 and Promenade 9. We did have a little money left over and received a check which we cashed out at GS.

We then headed over to the casino and played a few slots and used our classic drink receipts for some roulette. I went up to look at some more pics and passed the gold by the inch table, they were having a special, buy 21" and get 2 free bracelets. The arcade is located by the pictures and the kids dance floor, I watched them later that night, looked like they were having fun, their disco floor also lit up, pretty cool. For those interested, for youth, they had, meet & greet, club rollout, elegant party, dress to impress party, glow stick party, dance party, movie night/date night.

We then scooted back to our room to pack up our stuff, we were doing self embark so I just got everything ready except what we needed for the next morning.:(

Next up was some lunch, they had mahi mahi on Lido which was good and I got some more of those yummy chicken tenders. We then went to sit, smoke and converse with some friends on deck, ordered some more Red Frog and chillax. We spent time talking to an elderly couple who always sat in the corner, they had brought their 3 grandkids with them. We shared some beer and then went to Serenity for a little while.

We mosey back down to smoke some more and our other GA couple were there. He had 2 shots of tequila in either hand and I was like "Woe boy, slow down, lol" he stated he was trying to get messed up today, it was his day, but he was having trouble getting a buzz even drinking shots and all. At this time my son walks up, I'm sure I don't have to tell you what happened next. Yes the Lido bartender now knows how to make an Irish Breakfast. :p John loved this so much he drank and bought all the shots and it was alot. I warned him he better slow down, now it was a competition between him (39) and DS (22). Not going to happen, my son can drink like a fish and still know what's going on around him (just like his mama):p.

I suggested he drink some water in between these shots, he tried, but he just kept drinking, 14 shots later (about 1 1/2) he had accomplished his goal. He really was gone at about 10 when DH told him, "Hey you didn't finish all your OJ/schnapps in that last shot", so he picks up the shot glass and tries to unscrew the top off the glass(a top that was not there), I look at DH and said, Yep, he's gone, lol. We were having such a good time, I look over and the older couple that had sat at the corner table the entire cruise had moved to a table beside us so they could watch! I guess we are pretty entertaining! His dear wife had to take him back to room for the night, later another friend told us they saw him on the way to the room, hanging on to the hallway polls!:D Great couple!

We did some more walking around after this, then I headed back to the room to see if our liquor had arrived, it had, so we packed that up and I grabbed the bottle of champagne DH had won and headed back up to the Lido bar, we sipped and watched my Miami Heat lose to the Celtics.

After the game we headed back inside to the casino bar, it was hopping, band was playing and 2 of our MDR tablemates were there. It was one of the girl's birthdays, so DH slipped a note to the band to wish her a happy BD. They were a hoot, they had already ordered Long Island Tea from Vera and were feeling good. They were from Ga and as bout as backwoods as they come. (their words) One of them said they live in the wood, no house phone, no computer and guess what her DH and SIL where doing while they were cruising? Driving their covered wagon, wait, let me say that again, COVERED WAGON from GA to VA. WT??? I said, Uh what pulls the wagon, well silly me, a burro of course. Are you pulling my leg? No way the other girl says, they have a wagon and it takes 4 days to travel, they camp in it and everything. On a highway? I really need to get out of FL. lol Well the next bright question I ask is, "OK, so what do ya do if ya get a flat?" "Call AAA and request an a**? " She looks at me and says "No, ya shoot it just like a horse!" Bartender give me another!!!

They were having a blast though, we danced and messed around till about 1:30, said our departures and then headed off for more late night pizza run and then back to bed.

Debark Day

I am up early and dressed, get the boys up and take the long, long walk to Lido for our last breakfast at sea. It was packed up there! Seems like no one wanted to leave! We then went to GS and cashed our check and went back to get our luggage, we were thru customs in about 5 minutes, very benign. We called the Tahitian Inn and they were just taking more people back so we had about 30 minutes, we walk down the road to a cafe' for coffee and then cross the street to the parking garage, its literally steps from the port. All pick ups are done here, airport, hotels, Alamo etc. There are also plenty of cabs out front, I think the going rate was $25 for a cab. I took one last pic from the garage of the tip of the whale tail. We are picked up and shuttled back by a very nice driver, turns out he has a cousin that lives very close to us and owns a hotdog stand down next to UF.

We arrive to our car and are home in 2 hrs, I luv living in FL!

Detailed. Another ?, what are the classic drinks? Are they listed somewhere at the bars? And do you just bring the receipt to the casino cashier to get the $5 match play?

Your welcome, classic drinks are listed one menus at the bars,

17bar2_4.jpg

Take your receipt to the casino cashier, she will give you a card worth a $5 token, then you take the card to the table and match it with another $5, so you will have a $10 bet.
