Booze in room

Recommended Posts

It's been many years since I cruised. At that time, one could buy a bottle of booze in the ship's liquor store and take it back to your room to have nightcaps. Can you still do that? Can you also get canned soda to take to your room?

No, not on RCI and I don't think it's been possible since about 2005 as we could do it in 2004 but not since. As for canned soda, you'll be able to purchase this at any bar and take it wherever you want.

But you can order a bottle from room service. Does that count?!

You can order a bottle of wine from room service, but not hard liquor.

Regarding the soft drinks, most staterooms have a few soft drink cans in the cooler. Just use them and they will be replenished (and charged) daily.
