Oak Hill Cruisers Posted November 19, 2019 #1679 Share Posted November 19, 2019 Having gone through much of the 68 pages of posts on this thread, it appears that one should use a photo hosting service like Shutterfly, Photobucket and the like to post photos on CC. Having lost all of our photos that we have uploaded to TinyPic (did not rescue them in time after notification), we're reluctant to start again with another hosting site. As you can see, we've been trying, with limited success, to post and caption photos directly from our laptop hard drive (Windows 10). Question: Is it still the CC photo posting protocol that we must use a photo hosting site? Or have Windows 10 users discovered a way to post and caption photos from their computers? No you can upload from your PC or phone or you can take a screenshot and paste it in or you can copy a link from a picture on the internet by right cliciking and pick choose location. This is a direct upload from my pc by clicking choose files This is a screen shot while I posting using the snipping tool and then just paste into the message. If I wanted to copy the picture in the post above I would use copy image location (each browser is different) Thanks alan

I post all of mine direct. The only issue is video. CC doesnt like really big files. Under 4 MB is fine

Personally, I think more folks have had problems with 3rd party sites like Shitterfly, than we do with CC Apparently, i have 3,688 attachments here on CC😱 Edited November 29, 2019 by John&LaLa

Try conrtol-click to select multiple files at one time, they all upload to the uploaded images, then you type some text and insert as you wish or hit save and they all post as below Edited December 2, 2019 by AlanF65
