Alaska cruise

I'm sure you all will be hearing from me a lot over the next few days. Never been on Holland America so a little worried about the difference between it and other cruise lines. Anything anyone could tell me would be great. Also, curious about what normal drink prices are (i.e. mixed drinks).

DH and I have cruised a lot but I never wanted to sail Alaska. This June, I agreed to go as DH really wanted. Guess who had a great time and loved Aaska. :D

Most mixed drinks run about $6.95. I have no idea who else you have cruised with but I think you'll be very happy with Hal. Wonderful food and great service.

I have sailed HAL, Princess, Cunard and NCL and there are not huge differences that you should be concerned about. :)

My potent potable of choice runs $5.95, plus 15% service charge. That's probably on the low end of the drink scale.

That 15% is added to all drinks from the bar.
