sbnuggie Posted October 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Howdy, We may have friends joining us for a cruise to bring our group number of 14. I wouldn't imagine there are tables that large, I think round tops of 10 is the max but not %100. How do they handle large groups like this? SadieN Posted October 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2012 PLan on being divided up. Probably tables of 6 & 8 if they are near each other. Some ships have tables that share a long bench. Once we had 13 and we were at one round table on the Paradise. Very awkward. Table was too large to speak to anyone (except those next to you) without shouting. singsong Posted October 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Most ships have only 10 spots, with an occasional 12. When we sailed with 16 a few years ago, they gave us two side by side 8 spots. I'm sure we drove our two sets of waiters nuts by switching up the table seating every night, but they took it in stride.
